Privacy Policy

This policy describes how FilmGen handles account information, project media, generated outputs, and operational data while delivering the product.

FilmGen privacy commitments

FilmGen is an AI production platform, which means privacy has to account for uploads, generated media, review history, and platform operations together.

Effective date

This Privacy Policy is effective as of April 9, 2026 and applies to FilmGen's website, application, and related services.

This version is a public-facing operating draft intended to accurately describe the current product while remaining reviewable as the company formalizes legal review.

Information we collect

FilmGen collects information you provide directly, including account details, profile information, uploaded audio, uploaded reference images, prompts, and other project content you submit through the product.

We also collect service and usage information needed to operate the platform, such as project metadata, generation status, delivery events, device or browser signals, and general diagnostic information associated with platform reliability and abuse prevention.

How we use information

We use collected information to operate the FilmGen service, authenticate users, process uploads, generate outputs, deliver media, support review and export workflows, maintain account and project history, improve platform reliability, and communicate important service information.

We may also use service data to monitor performance, debug failures, detect misuse, protect the platform, and improve the quality of the user experience.

Uploaded media and generated outputs

Uploaded audio, reference images, prompts, generated scene assets, and final exports are processed and stored as part of your project workspace so FilmGen can deliver the service you requested.

Because FilmGen is an AI production workflow, project assets may move through multiple processing stages, including analysis, alignment, image generation, video generation, review, media delivery, and export. We retain the data needed to support those stages and preserve your project history unless and until it is deleted under applicable retention or account-management processes.

Service providers and infrastructure

FilmGen relies on third-party cloud, storage, authentication, and model providers to operate the service. These providers may process data on our behalf as needed to host the application, store project assets, provide authentication, generate outputs, or support platform operations.

We work to limit provider access to what is operationally necessary for the requested service and product functionality.

Data retention

We retain account data, project data, and generated outputs for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain workspace continuity, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Retention may vary depending on the type of content, account status, product operations, and security or compliance needs.

Security and access

FilmGen uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect account and project data. No platform can guarantee absolute security, and you should use appropriate care when deciding what content to upload.

Access to project resources is intended to be limited to authenticated and authorized users of the relevant workspace, subject to the product's access-control and media-delivery mechanisms.

Your choices

You may update certain account information through the product, and you may choose what content you upload or generate through FilmGen.

If you have questions about your data, account, or deletion requests, you may contact FilmGen through the business contact path provided on the site or through your account relationship with the company.
