Terms of Service

These terms describe how customers may use FilmGen, what responsibilities apply to uploaded and generated content, and the general limits and expectations around the service.

Using FilmGen

FilmGen is built for AI-assisted video production. The service is structured around project workspaces, uploaded media, generated outputs, and reviewable deliverables.

Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of FilmGen's website, application, and related services. By using FilmGen, you agree to these terms.

This version is a public-facing operating draft intended to support the current product while remaining subject to later legal review and refinement.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and use the service in compliance with applicable law and these terms.

FilmGen may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these terms, investigate misuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Use of the service

FilmGen provides tools for uploading media, generating AI-assisted visual content, reviewing outputs, and exporting final media deliverables. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not violate the rights of others or interfere with platform operations.

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt service integrity, or use FilmGen in connection with unlawful, infringing, abusive, or deceptive conduct.

Customer content and generated outputs

You retain responsibility for the content you upload to FilmGen, including audio, images, prompts, and any other project inputs. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content with the service.

As between you and FilmGen, you are intended to retain your rights in your submitted content and generated outputs, subject to any rights necessary for FilmGen and its service providers to host, process, store, transmit, review, and deliver the service.

Subscriptions, billing, and availability

Certain FilmGen features may depend on subscription plans, usage limits, enterprise arrangements, or future billing terms. Pricing, entitlements, and plan details may be presented separately on the site or in a customer agreement.

FilmGen may modify, improve, limit, or discontinue features over time. We aim to operate a reliable service, but availability, generation speed, model availability, and output quality may vary.

No guarantee of outputs

AI-generated content is probabilistic by nature. FilmGen does not guarantee that outputs will always be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every intended purpose.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publication, distribution, or downstream use, especially where timing, rights, claims, or brand-sensitive content matters.

Termination

You may stop using FilmGen at any time. FilmGen may suspend or terminate access where necessary to enforce these terms, protect the platform, comply with law, or address harmful use.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including content rights needed for completed operations, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will continue as applicable.

Disclaimers and liability

FilmGen is provided on an as-available and as-is basis, except as may otherwise be stated in a separate written agreement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilmGen disclaims implied warranties and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilmGen will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or related to the use of the service.
