Provider Details

Cinematic Motion

Sora 2

OpenAI's video generation model. Strong at cinematic motion, human subjects, and complex scene compositions. Supports both image-to-video (animating a still) and text-to-video generation. Offers the widest duration range with 12-second clips.

Remix support — Sora can create alternate interpretations of a scene via its remix capability, available as a scene recovery option.

Natural Scenes

Veo 3.1

Google's latest video generation model. Excellent at natural scenes, landscapes, atmospheric effects, and smooth camera movement. The 6-second mid-length bucket provides flexibility that other providers lack.

Stylized Visuals

Runway Gen4.5

Runway's latest generation model. Great for stylized and abstract visuals with consistent artistic aesthetics. Works best with strong reference images and specific art direction.

Dynamic Motion

Luma Ray-2

Strong at dynamic camera movement and 3D-aware scene understanding. Produces smooth, physically plausible motion with good depth perception.

Distinctive Style

Grok Imagine

A generative model with a distinctive visual style. Operates primarily as text-to-video, bringing its own interpretation to prompts.

Duration Bucketing

Each provider supports specific clip durations (buckets). When the platform plans scene timings, it selects the best-fit bucket for each scene based on the planned duration from the treatment. If the actual video duration doesn't match the planned duration within tolerance, the scene is flagged as duration-incompatible and can be repaired.

Provider Availability

The Studio UI shows all currently available providers in the model selection dropdown. Provider availability may vary over time.

Switching Providers

You can change the video provider at the project level (affects all new generations) or per-scene when retrying a failed or rejected scene. This is useful when one provider produces better results for a particular type of scene.
